BS 15000 AND ISO 20000

ITIL forms the basis for the British Standard 15000. BS 15000 has successfully reached the next stage of the Fast Track procedure to becoming an international standard ISO 20000 (expected December 2005)

WHAT COURSES DO WE OFFER?

Foundation Course - This new ITIL® Foundation course offers students a comprehensive and high quality approach to obtaining their ITIL Foundation Certificate credits. The course is based upon ITIL’s Service Lifecycle approach to service quality and the Core Capabilities within that lifecycle. It prepares the student to take the 1-hour 'Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management' exam administered at the end of the course.

  • Class size: 6-20 students.
  • Course duration: 3 days and includes official (APGM) exam. It is instructor-led and classroom-based.
  • Pre-requisites: Designed for those who will be responsible for design, delivery, support or operation of IT services.
  • Required Study Material: Students will receive the course slides as well as a comprehensive set of study notes. Homework will be assigned.
  • Sample Exams: Students will receive several sample exams and have opportunity to run a mock exam during the course.
  • Exam Syllabi: Students must correctly answer at least 26 of the 40 questions in the 1-hour multiple-choice exam.


  • ½-day ITIL Overview
    - This describes the benefits of implementing ITIL. It is intended for executives who want to know what the ITIL hype is all about and do not need to write the Certification exam.

    WHO IS THE INSTRUCTOR?



    Our instructor, Lucia Alloggia, is a senior IT Service Management Consultant with her Manager Certification (with distinction in Service Delivery) as well as her Change Practitioner Certification. She is an accredited ISO 20000 Consultant and is an accredited Trainer and Training Provider with Loyalist Certification Services.

    Her success rate in helping IT professionals successfully achieve their ITIL Foundations accreditation is in the high nineties. Her background as an IT professional with over 25 years in IT lets her bring real-life examples to explain what can be a very dry topic.
